REQUEST
Fill out the design questionnaire form below. A team member will reach out to discuss process and fees associated with scheduling a consultation.

CONSULTATION
Whitney will meet in your home to go through your list of wants, needs, ideas, etc. This process takes approximately 1-1.5 hours, and costs $350.

CONTRACT
Receive detailed bid via email based on services desired from Consultation. Sign and pay agreement electronically.

DESIGN
Create a Houzz board with inspiration photos & descriptions to help the design team better understand your personal style. From there Coulas Homes puts together an inspiration design board and the fun starts!

Whitney Coulas is one of the best Kansas City interior designers as determined by accomplishments, as well as industry and media recognition. She graduated from top accredited college, University of Central Oklahoma with a BFA in Interior Design in 2011. After working for some of the best ASID Design Firms, Whitney decided to break off on her own and start Coulas Homes Inc. in 2015.
She is a construction-based designer that understands not only how to design something stunning but has vast knowledge of all the components that are involved within a renovation or custom build. Whitney has developed extensive experience working with diverse clientele, including celebrities on numerous projects, not only in Kansas City, but around the country.
She has followed up her knowledge of design with a passion of real estate, and has been a licensed Realtor® in KS, MO & FL since 2017.

LISA GINSBURG
OPERATIONS & DESIGN ASSISTANT
Lisa graduated from The University of Kansas and worked as a legal recruiter in Chicago. After taking a break to raise her two daughters, Lisa is excited to pursue her passion in design. Having grown up in Dallas and lived in Chicago for years, she is a city girl at heart and loves modern design. She loves researching and seeking out the newest trends and is excited to help execute them in person with Coulas Homes. Lisa thrives on having a creative project to work on, whether it’s a renovation in her own home, or a craft project. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband and two daughters.
ASHLYN MILLER
JUNIOR DESIGNER
Ashlyn like Whitney has BFA in Interior Design. She is deeply passionate about residential design and finds immense joy in crafting beautiful and functional spaces for people to live in. Her favorite part of the design process is creating mockups and mood boards, as she loves seeing clients get excited and inspired by the creative possibilities. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn and grow as a designer with Coulas Homes and looks forward to contributing her skills and creativity to exciting new projects!
