After moving to 5 different cities in the last 10 years and working for top ASID Design Firms, Whitney decided to break off on her own and start Interior Concepts LLC in 2015. She is a construction based designer that understands not only how to design something stunning, but has vast knowledge of all the components that are involved within a renovation or custom build. She has followed up her knowledge of design with a passion of real estate, and is also licensed Realtor® in KS, MO & FL.

We just finished a whole-house, high-end renovation on an older property and wanted to move the house to be more upper-scale with a definitively Contemporary and Modern feel. We were previously working with another interior designer but were unsatisfied w/ her soft opinions and lack of any specific direction. My wife found Whitney on-line and we were both drawn to her work. She is extremely talented and has a clear vision of what she wants and how she is going to take you there. Her communication was direct and to-the-point and I very much appreciated this in working with her. She is definitely not the low-cost provider for this type of service but she saved us many thousands of dollars a number of different times by doing it right the first time and keeping us from doing things were were contemplating with a "I am not really sure that's the direction I would go with this" type of statement.

We hired Whitney to manage our Kitchen remodel. From the very beginning she had ideas and what to do to maximize our remodel with the current trends that other individuals I interviewed did not recommend. She handled all the vendor bids, timeframe of the project and all the details. She was always responsive, professional and punctual. Our kitchen turned out beautiful and all her recommendations were spot on for color of cabinets, walls and new fronts on the doors and drawers. We would not hesitate to hire Whitney again for any other project we have in our house.

Whitney worked with us on the complete remodel of a 1950's Leawood ranch. Although we had a very clear vision of what we wanted to achieve, Whitney really helped us drill through an endless amount of products we considered using, and, frankly, refine our ideas to achieve an outcome that we could not have achieved by ourselves.
We started with several brainstorming sessions so Whitney could get a sense of our style and completely understand our desired outcome for our remodel. We asked Whitney to critique our ideas, to be direct and honest, and help us achieve best practice results. She embraced our vision, steered us away from common mistakes, and made suggestions for improvements when necessary. She is experienced, thoughtful, and truly a very talented designer.
If you are looking for someone who can help you refine an idea, or if you want a complete turn key design, we can't recommend Whitney enough. She has experience with an enormous amount of products and can work in a wide variety of styles. Most importantly, she is prompt and courteous. She will find answers to your questions and get back to you quickly with the correct information. Highly recommended!

After severe water damage left over half of our home destroyed, Whitney helped us bring our home back to life. We are so grateful we had her during this stressful situation! She is very knowledgeable, professional and talented. She took her time to get to know us and our style, was very resourceful with our time, and was super easy to communicate with. Whitney was very helpful in our condo redesign. She has good ideas, knows design, very knowledgeable about selections and what's current. Her kitchen design reflected our wishes of beauty and function providing us with the plan for our dream kitchen. She was instrumental in the design and selection for our elegantly modern master bath with extra large porcelain tile in a dramatic marble finish. Whitney worked well with our builder--on time and responsive. I would certainly recommend her for listening and designing for her client wishes and tastes.

Whitney was always on time. Her work alongside our contractor made our home value go way up and everything looks incredible. She helped my wife and I pick out the perfect countertops, tile, faucets, etc. that made our home amazing.

Whitney did a fabulous job on my hearth room and formal living room. She works well with a budget and can find amazing items places that I would never be able to. I think in the end, having her design my space probably saved me a little bit of money. I was worried about handing over control of the project to someone else, but she did such a great job of incorporating me and my husband's style.
